The Orion Society is the Kearney Catholic Foundation's dedicated giving initiative, launched to secure a lasting, sustainable income stream for the Foundation's operations.
For years, roughly 60% of the Foundation's operating budget has been funded by portions of the annual Endowment draw and proceeds from the G.O.L.D. Dinner & Auction, dollars that could otherwise go directly to students, teachers, and programs. The Orion Society was created to change that. By building a dedicated base of annual support for Foundation infrastructure, it frees up the Endowment draw and 95% of G.O.L.D. proceeds to benefit Kearney Catholic students, staff, and programs directly.
Membership is open to donors who want to support "the mission behind the mission" — the operational strength that makes fundraising, donor stewardship, communications, and alumni relations possible. In short: when the Foundation grows stronger, so does Kearney Catholic High School.
100% of Orion Society gifts go straight to Foundation operations.
